Investor database: sources and your rights
This page explains where the data in our investor database comes from, what we do with it, and how to have your record corrected or removed. If you are listed and want out, the last section is the one you need.
Where the data comes from
The database was compiled from a commercial dataset of venture funds, angel networks, accelerators and corporate investors, and from publicly available sources such as firm websites and public professional profiles. We then normalised it: fund type, investment stages and sectors were mapped to a single taxonomy, and locations were parsed into country, region and city.
What we hold
For each firm: name, type, website and social profiles, headquarters location, the stages and sectors it invests in, the number of investments and exits, notable portfolio companies, and a business contact email address. The contact address is the only field that identifies an individual, and it is a professional address at the firm — not a private one.
Why we process it, and on what basis
We process it to provide a business directory that helps founders find investors whose stated focus matches their company. Our basis is legitimate interest: connecting companies seeking funding with professionals whose stated business is to provide it. We have documented that assessment and will share it on request. The data is not used for profiling or automated decision-making.
What we do not claim
We do not claim the records are verified. No verification was carried out, and each record carries a confidence level rather than a verification stamp. Free preview rows never contain contact details — those fields are absent from the page and from the API response, not hidden by styling.
What buyers may and may not do
The export is licensed for the buyer's own use in identifying and approaching investors. Reselling it, redistributing it, or using it for bulk unsolicited mail without an independent lawful basis of the buyer's own is not permitted. This is set out in the terms of service.
Removing or correcting your record
Write to info@enbrig.com from the address in the record, or from any address at the same domain, and say which firm you mean. We remove the record from the preview and from every future export, and we do not re-add it if the same entry appears in a later source. You may also ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or object to the processing. We answer within one month.
